Labeling silicone moulds

To keep track of many shapes, it's recommended to mark the shapes. We tried various methods. Labels don't stick to silicone surfaces. Even waterproof pens for labeling glass or plastic didn't achieve the desired results.

We therefore use the following method. The overlapping tape adheres sufficiently well to the silicone mold. The tape can be easily labeled with a waterproof pen and easily replaced if necessary (e.g., after cleaning).

Tips: Fabric adhesive tapes are available in different colors. These colors could also be used for additional classification. (E.g., pillar candles: green, Christmas candles: red, etc.). As you can see, not only the name of the mold but also the wick size (here D 5) was indicated here.
