Wax: Where does the wax you offer come from?

Beeswax is an industrial raw material. It is mainly used in the food industry as a release agent or in bleached form as white beeswax in the cosmetics industry. The need for wax cannot be met within Europe. The wax is collected, cleaned and analyzed worldwide before it reaches the market.
The following should also be taken into account when it comes to beeswax: If you want to cast medium walls for the bees, it must be free of treatment substances and pathogens. The color and burning behavior play no role. Therefore, not every wax is suitable for casting candles. The candle must burn well (the flame must be approximately the same height throughout the entire burning time) and the wax must have a pleasant color. We value good burning behavior. Every batch we sell is tested by us.

Wax: Do you clean the wax yourself?

Cleaning beeswax is complex. Cleaning is only worthwhile in large quantities. We clean our beeswax for center walls. However, this does not go into candle production.

Wax: Do you also buy wax?

No. We do not clean up wax. In addition, counterfeit and contaminated beeswax are often in circulation. Then we would have to have analyzes carried out on every purchase, which is then not worth it.

Candle motifs: I can't find any small figures or animal figures from you.

We don't offer everything. There are several reasons for this. Other competitors make figures that can be bought in discount stores for decor and household items, for example. But these fall under copyright law. If you then buy the molds, make candles and sell them, you can be warned or sued by the author. This is expensive and very annoying. We therefore avoid such forms.
These small candle figurines and animal figurines are inexpensive due to their size. Although children cannot buy snap chocolates as a gift for mother or father, these candles are freely available. Candles are dangerous if left unattended and used incorrectly. For the reasons mentioned, we do not yet have these products in our range.

Candle motifs: Why are there no purchase recommendations

Depending on the region, city or rural area, different products are preferred. In large cities you can also sell more expensive candles. This does not necessarily apply to rural areas. If the customer then follows the purchase recommendation, it can also become a bad investment if candles are to be made from it for sale. Equestrian motifs are also a nice thing, especially if you have several riding stables nearby. There are also differences when it comes to Christian motifs, whether you live in a Catholic or Protestant region.

Candle motifs: Do you also make candle shapes according to specifications?

We do that if necessary. These can be special sizes. For example, if there are pillars in intermediate sizes that are far enough from our sizes, we will do this if necessary. Then we can also take the shapes (since we don't create them creatively) into the shop. The price is then similar to that of the shapes found in the shop.
For self-designed templates (e.g. made of wood, plaster), etc., we can cast these templates. However, the customer is responsible (copyright) that the motifs are his own or that he had them created for himself or that he has the rights to the motif. These forms are of course only for this customer.
Experience has shown that it is not worthwhile to create molds according to specifications with motifs without the customer's template. Example: Customer wants a pillar with a city coat of arms (send us a picture and we should make a shape out of it. The first question here is copyright (approval from the creator or the city). If we implement this, it will take a lot Time and machine hours. If 2-3 molds are required, that would be disproportionately expensive. Please contact us before sending samples/templates.

Candle sales: After buying a mold from you, can I sell the candles from it?

Of course. The candle molds were also made for this purpose. You can also use the pictures of the candles and also those from our shop if the shapes come from us.

Candle sales: Why can't I buy candles from you?

Our customers are predominantly candle manufacturers. Since we have the shapes and the material, we would then be in competition with our customers. We don't want to do that.

Silicone: Are the molds made of the same silicone that you can buy?

No. The silicone for the molds is much more complicated to cast and requires special equipment. The silicone for self-casting gives you more time to cast, but hardens longer. Due to the low viscosity and longer curing, bubbles can still reach the surface.
